In the past, all job goals would be evaluated once a year or once a quarter and as the evaluations would happen together the weights would work well.
The new norm is a continuous feedback with variable frequencies. Some job goals would be evaluated multiple times and some just once every year, some would be a 360-degrees evaluation and some self-evaluated.
In recent evaluation strategies, the simple way to give higher weights to some job goals is to split them up into multiple result areas, and the way to lower weights is to merge multiple low importance job goals in a single result area.
If you still need weights to be computed, we have excel templates that will help you do this on a yearly basis.
