An employee directory is not only a tool for encouraging better communication but can also become an invaluable engagement avenue. Let’s explore different avenues for effectively leveraging the company directory.
Viewing contact information: Visit the Directory page to view the basic contact information of any person, including their name, job title, email address, and joining date.
Endorsing a team member: One of the most impactful ways to recognize exceptional contributions is through endorsements. Simply navigate to the person’s profile and select the “Endorse” option. You’ll then be prompted to choose the specific competencies you wish to endorse the person for. You even have the option to endorse them across multiple competencies in a single action.
Endorsements are sent to the recipient via a browser notification, the AssessTEAM mobile app, and they are also visible on their performance summary page. The entire team can see endorsements on the company performance page.
Leaving feedback at will: Continuous feedback is the swiftest way for managers to deliver clear and timely inputs for their team. Navigate to the person’s profile under the Directory and click on the “Leave Feedback” option. Select one or more result areas to be included in the evaluation, then click “Continue” to proceed. Click on the Start Evaluation, thoughtfully choose your answers, leave notes to provide comprehensive feedback, and click the Finish Evaluation button to submit your feedback. You may opt to sign this evaluation to enhance the feedback’s credibility.
Requesting feedback from your team: Requesting feedback not only enhances job performance but also fosters authentic relationships. Simply navigate to a person’s profile under the Directory and click on the “Request Feedback” option. From here, select the specific areas in which you’re seeking input and click the Send button. Confirm the action on the pop-up screen to complete your request. In a matter of moments, your colleagues and supervisors will receive an email with a link to provide their feedback on the selected result areas.
