Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EarthDay.org, including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries.

The HR Team will make employees aware of Earth Day.

The holiday involves:
Eating a lot of carbs.
Sephardic superstitions.
Inviting the whole community to join the celebration at your home.
After not eating chametz for a whole week, eating crepes and Molfetta is the only way to celebrate the end of Passover. Organize a party to celebrate the end of Passover with Crabs and Crepes.

Every third Sunday in May, World Baking Day inspires people to bake for their loved ones, friends, and neighbors. These bakers are encouraged to give their baked goods away as a token of gratitude and appreciation. People have been baking for thousands of years. Host a baking competition amongst departments to bake a cake, cookies, pastries, etc.

The HR Department can:
1. Arrange an event where employees are called up with homemade baked items, which can be shared within the team. Alternatively, a baking competition would be more enjoyable.”

Take your kids to work day, also termed Take Your Child to Work Day, is a national day that gives children in the United States a glimpse into the working world. Inviting all employees with their kids, snacks, movies, or any activity will be arranged.

The HR Department can:
1. Inform all the employees 15 days prior to this day.
2. Arrange snacks and a cartoon/movie that everyone can sit and enjoy.

LGBT Pride Month occurs in the United States to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which happened at the end of June 1969. As a result, many pride events are held during this month to recognize the impact LGBT people have had in the world. Three presidents of the United States have officially declared a pride month.

The HR Department can:
1. An informative email would be worth sharing on this day.

Children’s Day promotes the welfare of kids around the world. It’s a platform for raising awareness of children’s rights and supporting initiatives that build a better future.

World Photography Day is an annual celebration of photography’s art, science, and history. It is observed every year on August 19th to pay tribute to the art of photography. Plan a photography competition with teammates.

The HR Department can:
1. Arrange a photography competition. The winner should be awarded.

The observation started in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week under President Lyndon Johnson and was expanded by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 to cover 30 days beginning on September 15 and ending on October 15. It was enacted into law on August 17, 1988, with the approval of Public Law 100-402.

Send an email regarding Hispanic heritage month to all the employees.

International Coffee Day is an occasion to promote and celebrate coffee as a beverage, with events now occurring in places worldwide. A visit to the cafeteria outside the organization is a fun idea.

Less commonly known as Allhallows, Halloween is a celebration observed in many countries on 31 October. It begins the observance of Allhallowtide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the departed. Decorate the office and give out snacks.

Arrange a costume competition, arrange props, decorate the premises. The winner should be rewarded.

When is National Stress Awareness Day? On Wednesday, November 4th, National Stress Awareness Day is run by the International Stress Management Association (ISMA).Consultation by the counselor on how to manage stress.

1. Email about the day.
2. Host a session on stress management class or outsource it from experts on this topic.

International Men’s Day is celebrated every year on November 19 to recognize and honor men’s cultural, political, and socioeconomic accomplishments.

Black Friday is a colloquial term for the Friday following Thanksgiving in the United States. It traditionally marks the start of the Christmas shopping season in the United States. Give free vouchers for shopping at Black Friday Sales to employees.

National Native American Heritage Month–November 2022. Every year on November 1, Native American Heritage Month is celebrated to honor the remarkable Native Americans who have contributed a lot to improving the character of the nation.

Christmas Eve is the evening or the entire day before Christmas Day, the festival commemorating the birth of Jesus. Christmas Day is observed around the world, and Christmas Eve is widely celebrated as a whole or partial holiday in anticipation of Christmas Day.

Christmas is a special public holiday in December every year. The festival is celebrated on December 25th across many parts of the country.

New Year’s Eve is one of the largest global celebrations because it marks the last day of the year in the Gregorian calendar, December 31, before the New Year.

3. Keep a yearly target for employees who achieve their goals and can be rewarded with a vacation for the family where the organization will sponsor up to 4 individuals.
