How do I set up permissions so that a person only has access to his/her own results?

While creating a new profile under the Persons > Add a new person, user permissions are set at self-metrics by default. This will limit a user’s access to their own performance results.

For an existing user, you can restrict thier access by changing their user permission to Self metrics.
