Explanation of various fields and workflows on the evaluation templates

1. Evaluation title: The title is the evaluation headline. It is used as the invite email subject and to identify evaluation records.
2. Evaluation Description: Description text is notes and tips for evaluations, and is visible on the start and end screens of the evaluation.
3. Send date: Send Date represents the specific date when the evaluation is actually sent out to the evaluators.
4. Start date & end date: The start date and end date fields define the time period for which you are evaluating the employee’s performance.
5. Repeat: The repeat option defines the recurrence frequency of evaluations.
6. Evaluation interval from hire date (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th evaluation): Enables you to add days after which evaluations will be triggered for the new hires.
7. Anniversary evaluation end time: Allows you to stop anniversary reviews after a particular occurrence (1 to 10 times). Select “Never ends” to run anniversary reviews indefinitely.
8. Select customer(s): Select from existing customers, or create multiple customers’ profiles to send out customer feedback surveys. Every entry will generate a separate evaluation.
9. Downward evaluators: Refers to Managers or supervisors
10. Upward evaluators: Refers to Direct reports or subordinates
11. Peer evaluators: Refers to Peers at the same level
12. Self evaluation: Employees evaluating their own performance
13. Person(s) to be evaluated: Allows you to select one or more persons to be evaluated; type “All” to select all persons.
14. Team(s) to be evaluated: Allows you to select one or more teams to be evaluated; type “All” to select all teams.
15. Job title(s) to be evaluated: Allows you to select one or more job titles to be evaluated; type “All” to select all job titles.
16. Person tag(s) to be evaluated: Allows you to select one or more person tags to be evaluated; type “All” to select all tags.
17. Evaluate associated result areas: Evaluate result areas already associated with the persons selected.
18. Choose from associated result areas: Select one or more result areas that are associated with the persons selected.
19. Choose from all available result areas: Search for unassociated result areas from the result area library to evaluate.

20. Advanced evaluation options: Provides more ways to customize your evaluations.
a) Due in: Defines the due date by which evaluations are expected to be completed, and is used to send two reminder emails to all evaluators, 1 day before the due date and 1 day after the due date.
b) Defer send by: Specifies the number of days to modify when the evaluation will be sent out: use a positive number to postpone, or a negative number to expedite the process.
c) Cancel evaluations if not processed by due date: Enabling this option cancels all evaluations automatically if not completed by the due date.
d) All key performance indicators require an answer selection: Enabling this option removes the “Not applicable” selection from the rating scales.
e) Process all evaluations anonymously: Enabling this option makes all evaluations anonymous by default.
f) Exclude evaluations from score computation: Enabling this option prevents evaluation scores from impacting a person’s overall average.
g) Hide this evaluation from the evaluated person’s dashboard: Enabling this option prevents employees from viewing these evaluations on their dashboards.

21. Signature options at evaluation completion: Allows you to add a signature workflow upon evaluation completion.
a) Make signatures mandatory for the evaluator: When enabled, evaluators must sign off before they can finish/submit the evaluation.
b) Send a signature request to the person being evaluated: When enabled, signature requests are automatically sent to the employees once evaluations are completed.
c) Send a signature request to all team managers: When enabled, signature requests are automatically sent to all respective team managers once evaluations are completed.
d) Send a signature request to all downward evaluators: When enabled, signature requests are automatically sent to all respective downward evaluators or supervisors once evaluations are completed.
e) Send a signature request to specific person(s): When enabled, signature requests are automatically sent to the selected persons once evaluations are completed.
