The purpose and rationale behind employee evaluation methodologies at AssessTEAM are to gauge the effectiveness of your employees and to track your company’s Return on Investment (ROI). Quantitative feedback goes a long way towards providing the figures that are used to measure employee efficiencies. However, there are aspects of employee performance that numeric statistics cannot gauge. This is where qualitative or descriptive feedback plays a significant role in successful employee management.
It is important to note that qualitative feedback supports quantitative metrics as it provides the answers to the “why question.” In other words, qualitative feedback provides an answer to why has a particular staff member received a specific figure?
As a team manager, follow the steps below to add qualitative questions without scores in AssessTEAM.
Step 1: Login to the AssessTEAM dashboard.
Step 2: Click on the Teams Performance menu option from the sidebar menu options listed under the My Tools category.
Step 3: Click on the Team Goals Settings button.
Step 4: Choose a goal in the table under the Performance Indicator column by clicking on the performance indicator (or goal) description.
Step 5: Edit the performance indicator details by selecting the type of performance indicator. (Third field down on the left hand side of the screen)
Step 6: There are three choices: Selections with scores, Selections without scores, and Free text. Select the Free text option.
Step 7: Click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.
