What is the difference between result areas and OKRs?

When it comes to setting your business goals, finding the right tools and indicators to track your success is crucial. Result areas are groups of performance indicators you want to measure and monitor. These performance indicators can include job objectives, competencies, core values, or open-ended questions. OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) are a strategic goal-setting framework used to define clear objectives and track measurable outcomes. The Objective defines what you want to achieve, and the Key Results outline how you’ll measure progress toward that goal. Both Result Areas and OKRs help quantify the success of your growth plans and improvement goals, while mapping out a clear path to achieving them.
