How to set up an ad-hoc evaluation?

“Implementing a formal employee review system is an essential part of human resource management. It is a formal communication mechanism between employees and management. The successfully implemented employee review system allows staff to ascertain their team leaders’ opinions. It also provides management with information about the unique employee potential that is employed by the company to drive business growth and success. Employee potential is determined by competency evaluations. And, target evaluation determines whether stated goals and targets have been reached or not.

A periodic evaluation is an evaluation that is scheduled to recur on a regular basis. Time intervals between each evaluation can be daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.

AssessTEAM supports multiple evaluation types within the same person account. Some job responsibilities might need to be evaluated at a greater frequency than others. Additionally, other job responsibilities might need to be evaluated by subordinates, peers, and supervisors.

Therefore, as an Administrator, you can create a periodic evaluation in AssessTEAM by following these steps.

Step 1: Login to the AssessTEAM dashboard.

Step 2: Click on the Evaluation Templates menu option from the sidebar menu options listed under the Administrative Tools category.

Step 3: Click on the Add New Evaluation button on the right hand side of the web page above the table of existing evaluations.

Step 4: Select Periodic evaluation from the drop down box linked to the button.

Step 5: Fill in the details required to create a Periodic evaluation.

Step 6: Click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.

More detailed instructions:
Click on the “”Evaluation templates”” on the menu bar. Click on the ‘Add a new evaluation’ green button at the top right-hand corner. Choose ‘Periodic evaluation’ in the dropdown list.
Fill in the template- Select the interval as needed, you can choose daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. For example, quarterly reviews choose monthly and every 3 months.
Chose the corrrect evaluation level in the box on the left (or single persons) and then choose the Person(s) or Team(s) or Title(s) or Tag(s) to be Evaluated in the right hand box. The Evaluator levels (Downward, Upward, Peer) correlate to the hierarchy you have in each person’s profile in ‘Persons’.
Select the Result Area(s) to be included in this Evaluation by using the ‘Choose from all available Result Areas’ and then choose the Result Area from the dropdown box. Tip: You can start typing the first few letters and suggestions will be shown in the dropdown box. Next, click the Result Area and then the green ‘Include’ button to add the Result Area to this evaluation. You will notice that a Result Area line item has been added. Choose more Result Areas to ‘include’ if needed. As a reminder of the indicators for each Result Area you can click on the blue eye icon.
Scrolling down, you can now add other ‘Advanced options’ and ‘Signature options’ as well. Please read through the options and choose according to your workflow.
Once the evaluation template is filled in, click on Save. A diolog box will come up to show you the number of evaluations that will be sent out per evaluation level. Please make sure it matches with what you think it should be because once you click Confirm, the evaluations will be sent out on the Send date, as early as possible (just after midnight on that date). Keep in mind that you can put a future Send date that will trigger (execute) the evaluations to be sent out.”
