Implementing a formal employee review system is an essential part of human resource management. It is a formal communication mechanism between employees and management. The successfully implemented employee review system allows staff to ascertain their team leaders’ opinions. It also provides management with information about the unique employee potential that is employed by the company to drive business growth and success. Employee potential is determined by competency evaluations. And, target evaluation determines whether stated goals and targets have been reached or not.
For an employee evaluation methodology to be successful, regular evaluations must take place. Thus, periodic evaluation is an evaluation that is scheduled to recur on a regular basis. Time intervals between each evaluation can be weekly, monthly, biannually, or even annually.
AssessTEAM supports multiple evaluation types within the same person account. Some job responsibilities might need to be evaluated at a greater frequency than others. Additionally, other job responsibilities might need to be evaluated by subordinates, peers, and supervisors.
Therefore, as a team leader or manager, you can create a periodic evaluation in AssessTEAM by following these steps.
Step 1: Login to the AssessTEAM dashboard.
Step 2: Click on the Evaluation Templates menu option from the sidebar menu options listed under the Administrative Tools category.
Step 3: Click on the Add New Evaluation button on the right hand side of the web page above the table of existing evaluations.
Step 4: Select Periodic evaluation from the drop down box linked to the button.
Step 5: Fill in the details required to create a Periodic evaluation.
Step 6: Click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.
